Today the new arbitrators nominated by the Economic and Social Council (CES) took office for a three-year term from 2009 to 2012 under the framework for compulsory arbitration for the resolution of disputes in the determination of minimum services and of collective agreements under the Employment Code.
Appearing on the list of arbitrators as presiding arbitrators are PLMJ partners José Miguel Júdice and Luís Miguel Pais Antunes together with PLMJ consultant Jorge Ponce de Leão. They are joined by Manuel Cavaleiro Brandão, a partner at PLMJ’s Oporto office, as an arbitrator nominated by the employers side.
